We watched the "The Spiderwick Chronicles" yesterday. I was amazed that my children were not scared at all even if there are ogres and other ugly mythical creatures in the movie.
This movie as a very good adaptation of the popular series of books by Tony DiTerllizi and Holly Black.
This movie is one of the few family films in recent years to seamless integrate magical elements with a potent drama that strike a chord with many kids.
The lead character in this movie is portrayed by Freddie Highmore.
I like this movie.
