Increasing Traffic

I'm dismayed with my blog's rank. It  has never increased for over a year already. They used to have a page rank of at least 1. I'm just so busy that  haven't visited other blogs that's why I didn't get a lot of visitors too. I just don't have the time. I have to give the kids a ride to school plus I have to attend my toddler and 7 month baby. I'm working on increasing my blog's traffic that's why I am thinking about directory submission. It's free and will help my website indexed by major search engines. It's so self rewarding when my friends just type my name and they easily saw my websites through the search results.
